The Ankle Tightrope Kit
The Ankle Tightrope apparatus consists of two buttons: one round & one oblong; one strand of #5 Fiberwire is looped twice though the buttons creating a pulley effect; and a pull-though needle & threads to facilitate placement.
The oblong button is placed on the medial tibial cortex without need for an open incision on the medial side, by using the technique demonstrated below:
